The Flag of Liberia and What God is Saying to the People of Liberia:

The colors of the Liberian reminds us today to be strong on everything that we do and do what is the choices of all of us in one unity and the Leaders of the hope of tomorrow. The colors of the flag can be found even on the American Flag, USA. When we look at the colors of red, white, and blue; it is the symbolic of richness of resources. Here in this phrase color meaning, “In the Bible, the Hebrew word for red is Oudem. Its actual meaning is “red clay”. Many biblical names (Adam, Esau and Edom) are derived from this Hebrew word which means flesh. Thus, it is the root word for mankind as stated in the Bible.” This is the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ who we trust as it is stands, in Liberia, there are about 85% of the citizens who are Christians then followed by other non-Christians. The purposes of the color red can be heard in the national anthem of the colors doing the silence of the marching on the drum of the songs. The Flag of Liberia and National Anthem:

I pledge allegiance to the

flag of Liberia and to the

Republic for which it stands

one nation indivisible with

Liberty and justice for all

All hail, Liberia, hail! All hail, Liberia, hail! This glorious land of liberty Shall long be ours. Though new her name, Great be her fame, And mighty be her powers, Though new her name, Great be her fame, And mighty be her powers, And mighty be her powers, And mighty be her powers, In joy and gladness. With our hearts united, We’ll shout the freedom. Of a race benighted, Long live Liberia, happy land! A home of glorious liberty, By God’s command! A home of glorious liberty, By God’s command! All hail, Liberia, hail! All hail, Liberia, hail! In union strong success is sure We cannot fail! With God above Our rights to prove We will o’er all prevail, With God above Our rights to prove We will o’er all prevail, We will o’er all prevail, We will o’er all prevail, With heart and hand. Our country’s cause defending. We’ll meet the foe. With valor unpretending. Long live Liberia, happy land! A home of glorious liberty, By God’s command! A home of glorious liberty, By God’s command!

The song sends a strong unity frame that all Liberians Leaders stand in silence for the National Anthem. Although this song is a strong symbolic and strong senses of love, peace, joy, and harmony but the truth remains that we are all made the same and our believe is in one God and in understanding of who our Creator is to us.

Meanwhile, the White color of the flag can become the symbolic of the holiness that Liberia carries. For example, mostly all homes can be bible reading is important and praying in English is very well known. When the color white it represents the Bride of Christ that should be prepared for her Bride. The Bride of Christ is the Wife that should make all things new again for her Husband Jesus Christ. The white color comes in different meanings such as these below; White – Bride of Christ, surrender, harvest, light, righteousness, conquest, victory, blessedness, joy, angels, saints, peace, completion, triumph…”

Revelation 21:9 KJV And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

The blue color is the flourish of which we have carried since the 1800s. The meaning of the color blue as carried in the Rwandan flag color. “Blue – Heaven, the Holy Spirit, authority”. The blue is also the ethnical reasons of keeping the tradition of who we are to our forefathers who first landed on the soil of Liberia. These are the reasons of the colors but the flag stands for its meaning. On researches by finding on GettysburgFlag, :

COLORS AND SYMBOLISM OF LIBERIAN FLAGS

Liberian flags display eleven alternating stripes of red and white with a blue square and a white star in the canton. The flag has eleven stripes in order to represent each of the individuals who signed the Liberian declaration of independence, and the colors of those stripes represent both the nation's connection to the United States and the values of courage and morality. The flag's blue square is intended to represent the continent of Africa, while the white star in that square represents the introduction of an independent republic in the western style to Africa.

HISTORY OF LIBERIAN FLAGS

Although each of the fifteen counties of Liberia has its own flag, there has only ever been a single flag that represents the nation as a whole. It was formally adopted in 1847, and the design was carefully chosen to respect the nation's history and its hopes for the future.

Liberia was founded as a colony for freed slaves who wanted to leave the Americas, especially the United States. The nation was founded as a result of the American Colonization Society's efforts to build a new home for freed slaves. The society had have the support of many individual politicians and rich citizens in the United States, and it eventually received formal support from the American government. Its supporters ranged from abolitionists to some of the most prominent slave owners in the country, and they agreed on very little other than their desire to build colony for freed slaves.

The society founded Liberia in 1821, and it worked to gradually build the colony up to the point where it could survive as an independent nation. It reached that point in 1847, and the society formally yielded all control to the people of Liberia at that time. Liberia adopted its flag when it gained its full independence, and it has used it ever since without any changes.

May Liberia continues its success and continuous the long living now and forever. If Liberia repents and surrenders their wills to God, Liberia will succeed. The President of Liberia has been doing his best to success Liberia alongside his life partner Clar Weah who has been visiting villages to support Liberian Girls especially the Youth. I have personally followed her posting and she has done very well and praying for the success. The root of Africa still stands today and loving the greatness of Liberia….

God always gave me this bible chapter for Liberia.

ISAIAH 1

1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. 2Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. 3The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. 4Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. 5Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. 6From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. 7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. 8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city. 9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah. 10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. 11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. 12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? 13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. 14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them. 15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. 16Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; 17 learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. 21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. 22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water: 23 thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. 24 Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: 25 and I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin: 26 and I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. 27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness. 28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed. 29 For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen. 30For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water. 31 And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.
